"The third quarter of this year has allowed us to maintain a steady level of cargo volumes, and even lift them upwards when summarising the 9-month cargo volumes. The transit flow of containers with loaded cars to Ukraine increased significantly. Also, general cargoes consistently returned to containers, thanks to freight rates returning to pandemic levels", says Vaidotas Šileika, CEO of our terminal.

In January-September, we handled more than 365,000 TEUs of containers at the container terminal, which is 17.4% more than in the same period of 2022, when we handled - 310,000 TEUs.

The Ro-Ro and general cargo terminal handled 558 thousand tonnes of various cargoes in the first nine months of the year, an increase of 15% compared to the same period in 2022 (484 thousand tonnes). According to the CEO, the additional TT-Line ferry route to Karlshamn, which was launched at the end of April, contributed to this result.

In the first nine months of this year, 906 vessels were handled at our terminals, which is 7% more than in the same period in 2022.
