We opened the doors of the Container Terminal to the public
During this year's 90th anniversary celebration of the Sea Festival, we were active participants in the event programe and welcomed a large number of visitors to our Container Terminal and organized two excursions.
Our terminal often hosts a variety of visits, but this time the excursions were exceptional as we welcomed Klaipėda residents and visitors. The tours were led by our CEO Vaidotas Šileika.
"The terminal is an important part of the economy of Klaipėda and Lithuania. By opening it up, we are giving residents and visitors the opportunity to better understand how the terminal works and the processes that take place here, as well as its importance for our port and our city," says our CEO Vaidotas Šileika.
"It was a wonderful opportunity to see one of the most important facilities of the port from the inside! I am grateful for the opportunity the company gave me to hear information and exclusive facts about the terminal from a man who has been managing this company for 22 years", says Robertas Leistrumas, a participant of the tour, about his visit to KCT.
