The unique journey of the ship "Kuršis" begins at our terminal
Klaipėda-based traveller Aurimas Mockus' ship, which will cross the Pacific Ocean from the USA (California) to Australia (Brisbane), has already been loaded into a container at our terminal and is ready to set sail.
"We are delighted to be able to contribute our stevedoring services to the realization of this exceptional and highly ambitious initiative. This is yet another good deed to mark our 30th anniversary," says Edvinas Juodis, our Container terminal manager.
A.Mockus will paddle 12,000 kilometers on his own, without help or stops, and will become the first person in the world to do so. The traveler expects his challenge to take about 8 months.
