The Green shipping route has started in our terminal
We became the first handling terminal in the port of Klaipėda to handle the container ship ECO UMANDE on the green shipping route.
The X-Press Feeders' green methanol-powered container ship Eco Umande has arrived in the port of Klaipeda for the first time.
"This is not only an important milestone for our terminal, but also a significant step towards sustainability in the Baltic region. We are responsibly prepared to service not only our conventional vessels, but also green vessels that actively contribute to a lower environmental impact," says Mindaugas Songaila, our Commercial Manager.
The ship will visit Klaipėda every two weeks on the route Rotterdam - Antwerp - Klaipėda - Riga - Rotterdam.
