"With the arrival of this crane at the terminal, we have become unique in the Baltic States, as we will be able to use both cranes at the same time to handle cargo of exceptional tonnage, which can weigh up to 300 tonnes," says Vaidotas Šileika, our Managing Director, of the capacity of the new equipment.

According to the CEO, the new equipment will be used to increase the productivity and efficiency of handling operations. It is also important that the crane is environmentally friendly, as it can run on electricity. It will operate at the container terminal at 8 Perkėlos Street.

The Liebherr LMH 550 is designed for loading:

• Heavy and oversized cargoes;

• Bulk cargoes;

• Containers.

The crane has a lifting capacity of 154 t per crane and a boom length of 54 m.
