Container Terminal

In 2023, the terminal handled a record 6.27 million tones of cargo, including 494 062 TEUs of containers.

In 2023, KCT consistently implemented its investment plan and invested around EUR 20 million in terminal expansion, infrastructure improvements and new handling equipment. In 2023, KCT received the most powerful Liebherr cranes in the Baltics, which can handle up to 300 tones of cargo at a time, as well as the renewal of the fleet of terminal tractors and the purchase of 4 new units of this equipment.

The terminals have a 500 kW solar power plant installed on the warehouse roofs. Thanks to this investment, the terminal is now also supplied with electricity from renewable sources.
